The Seedboat Gallery is a very modern looking yet elegant gallery along the Southwest New Mexico Clay Arts Trail. Located in the Historic District in downtown Silver City, New Mexico, the Seedboat Gallery is home to many of the West's top artists, including clay artists Kate Brown, Dave Roberts, Patrick Crabb, Beth Menczer, and Kathryn Allen. The gallery space was once a warehouse built and owned by one of Silver City's pioneer women, Elizabeth Warren, in 1911, and the building was the first in New Mexico to have a designated deed of easement to preserve a historical facade. The gallery often hosts community and cultural events, as well as art shows and openings. The clay art displayed here is of gallery quality, as is all the art and jewelry they show. This is one site you most definitely do not want to miss on your Southwest New Mexico Clay Arts Trail journey!
